Understanding the 'Why' Behind Your Cat's Behavior
If your cat's behavior has you stressed, confused, or feeling like you've tried everything, I get it, and I'm here to help you figure out what's really going on.
I'm Jeanne, and I hold a Certificate in Applied Animal Behavior from the University of Washington, along with a master's degree in psychology that shapes how I approach every case with curiosity.
Cats don't act out for no reason. There's always a "why," whether it's a medical issue behind a behavior problem, a stressful change at home, or an unmet need. My job is to find that "why" and help you solve it, together.

HOW I GOT HERE
The Full Story
My path here wasn't purely academic. I grew up caring for animals of every kind, and later worked in corporate and then as a veterinary assistant, where I got hands-on experience seeing firsthand how closely medical health and behavior are connected — a perspective I bring into every consultation I do today.
Years after that, my own cat Meowington was diagnosed with cancer at just four years old. Juggling his care while working full-time and raising a family taught me firsthand how overwhelming it is when a pet's wellbeing feels out of your hands, and how much it helps to have someone in your corner who knows what to do. (Meowington, by the way, is now fifteen and a half and thriving in remission, proof that the right care and a little determination go a long way.)
That experience led me to found 360 Pet Cab in 2017, a trusted pet transport service for the Bay Area, before I shifted my full focus to behavior consulting. I've also worked as a research assistant at Oregon State University, teaching children on the spectrum how to train their own dogs, work that showed me just how transformative a well-understood human-animal bond can be for an entire family.
That experience is part of what led me to build Paws & Pages, a curriculum that teaches kids ages 6–18 to read animal behavior and build empathy by blending real behavior science with reading, journaling, and storytelling. Along the way, kids gain skills that last a lifetime: emotional regulation, responsibility, and the ability to see the world from another's perspective. For neurodivergent children especially, working with animals offers a calm, judgment-free way to practice reading cues and managing emotions.
I've also lived through the slow, patient work real behavior change takes. I successfully introduced Meowington, now fifteen and a half, to three kitten colony cats, and it took a full two years of gradual, careful work. Today, they all live together in harmony. That experience taught me lasting results rarely happen overnight, and it's exactly the kind of patience and realistic expectation-setting I bring to every family, cat shelter, or business I work with.
My Commitment to You and Your Cat
I bring that same commitment to every consultation I do, because whether you're dealing with a litter box mystery, a rocky introduction between cats, or behavior that's left you stumped, my goal is the same: take the stress off your plate and help you feel confident in your cat's care again.
